Aims

  1. Social Impact and Belonging. To create belonging and a supportive training environment and culture that is respectful to learners and patients, celebrate the experiences of our patients and community, and achieve a vision of healthy people and healthy communities. To recruit and train future physicians with demonstrated humanistic, academic, and scholarly skills.
  2. Mentoring. To meet the individualized educational and mentoring needs to allow fellows to reach their maximum potential and future career goals.
  3. Learning and Education. To provide a training environment that fosters the learner’s ability to progress in all educational milestones covered by the core competencies through clinical, simulated, didactic and mentoring experiences, and to promote innovation in education and life-long learning.
  4. Program Development. To work collaboratively with program leadership, division leadership, mentors, faculty, and trainees to continuously enhance learning opportunities.
