American Family Children's Hospital

American Family Children’s Hospital—also part of UW Hospitals—is a state-of-the-art, family-friendly facility that’s home to nationally acclaimed programs in pediatric heart transplant and cancer. 

It's a Level I Trauma Center for pediatric patients and has one of only two Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Units in Wisconsin.

Excellent library services are available at the physically attached Health Sciences Learning Center's Ebling Library

Residents also have their own library located near the wards. Our department also houses learning materials, including over 3,500 Board preparation questions, a three-year ambulatory core curriculum, video lectures and reading materials.
