To train a group of diverse and compassionate physicians in a supportive and inclusive environment, which prioritizes equitable delivery of culturally-sensitive, patient-centered cardiovascular care, fostering a culture of respect, and celebrating the diversity of our patients and community.
  2. Education, Learning, and Program Development. To consistently and iteratively engage a collaborative network of fellows, program leadership, mentors, and faculty toward enhancing and refining the learning environment, ensuring exposure to all facets of cardiovascular medicine, and excellence in all educational milestones through clinical, simulated, didactic, and mentoring experiences.
  3. Scholarship. To promote engagement in research, scholarship, and educational initiatives to advance the field of cardiovascular medicine and inspire trainees in Internal Medicine.
