Cardiovascular Medicine Grand Rounds RSS

The Cardiovascular Medicine Grand Rounds Regularly Scheduled Series (RSS) features weekly lectures presented by UW faculty, fellows, and visiting faculty from around the country. The series addresses new and/or developing research, technology, therapy, and practice guidelines in cardiovascular disease, clinical cardiac electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, and advanced heart failure and transplantation. The target audience includes cardiovascular medicine physicians, fellows, residents, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, lab personnel, and medical students. Some sessions may be relevant to internal medicine, cardiothoracic surgery, pediatric cardiology and other specialties.

Sessions are held Thursdays from 7:30-8:30am in UW Hospital auditorium G5/119 CSC unless otherwise noted. Some sessions are available via live stream and/or the video library archive if the presenter consents.

Claiming CME Credit

  1. A unique 6-digit code is provided for each grand rounds session (see flyers in the auditorium or view the comment section of the live stream).
  2. Text the 6-digit code to phone number 608-260-7097.
  3. You should receive a text confirming your attendance and, if applicable, an evaluation link. If no account is associated with your mobile number, you must follow the prompts to create/update your profile in order to receive credit.

Obtaining Your CME Credit Record

For sessions that occurred on or after July 1, 2018, log-in to your UW-ICEP Account using your UW NetID login (or Visitor login) and password. Under ‘My Account’, select the ‘My Activities’ tab then select the ‘Session Credit’ tab. Enter the range of dates needed, click ‘Apply’, then click ‘Download PDF’. Additional credit certificates for other CE activities may be available to download under the ‘Completed Activities’ tab.

For sessions that occurred prior to July 1, 2018, please complete the OCPD CME Credit Reprint Request Form.
