The Internal Medicine Interest Group (IMIG) is a student-led organization dedicated to helping medical students explore internal medicine and its subspecialties. Supported by the Department of Medicine and the American College of Physicians (ACP), IMIG provides a supportive and welcoming environment where students can learn, grow, and connect.

What We Offer

We offer students the chance to:

  • Learn about internal medicine through a variety of sessions and events covering hot topics, career paths, and sub-specialties.
  • Build professional relationships with faculty members.
  • Apply for funding for activities such as poster printing and conference attendance.
  • Network with students and trainees who share your interest in internal medicine.

Annual Events

The group holds regular meetings and organizes events; information is available below and emailed to students.
