How our program prepared him: "Surgical site infections and surgical pathology is a constant among nearly all ID physicians wherever they work....The experience garnered at UW in terms of surgical site and device-related infections left me well prepared to start on day one out of fellowship. The number and variety of cases you will experience as a UW ID fellow—from complicated neurosurgical cases to orthopedic infections—will shape a level of competence and confidence that allows you to pick up and start work virtually anywhere."
