PalliTALK and WeTALK Communication Workshops

PalliTALK

PalliTALK is a high-quality and well-respected simulation-based workshop designed for practitioners who want to dramatically increase their comfort and confidence in common and challenging clinical situations with seriously ill patients and families.

Participants will return from the workshop with an individualized learning plan and increased self-awareness and self-efficacy related to their communication skills. Topics include:

  • Serious news discussions
  • Dealing with conflict
  • High risk shared decision making with Best Case/Worst Case
  • Major transitions in care
  • Family meetings
  • Responding to emotion

WeTALK

WeTALK is an interactive, specialty-specific simulation that teaches effective ways of communicating with patients about serious illness. It's a personalized, resource intense, learner-centered education approach with proven effectiveness in changing behaviors.
