Curriculum

Clinical training - Hematology and Medical Oncology The didactic component of the Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program combines digital resources with face-to-face teaching, with an emphasis on case-based learning.

On rotations, fellows have 18 months of assigned clinical time, and 18 months of elective time to use how they choose.

Assigned clerkships include hematology consults, oncology consults, palliative care consults, inpatient hematology, bone marrow transplant, and monthly intensive rotations in: breast cancer, lung cancer, GI cancers, GU cancers, lymphoma/myeloma, leukemia/bone marrow transplant, benign heme/coagulation, sarcoma/melanoma/CNS tumors.

Fellows can choose electives in any of these rotations, or tailor their own elective to suit their needs.
