I am able to provide care locally for lung cancer patients and perform complex procedures that were not available here in the past. How our program prepared him: "I received great training at UW. The staff prepared me well to start my own interventional pulmonology program and gave me the skills to succeed in an academic program. Dr. Ferguson continues to be a great mentor. I still go to him for help on research or tough cases three years after fellowship."
