Professional interests: Quality improvement, population health, clinical workflow optimization, reducing provider documentation burden

Reason for choosing our fellowship: "I chose UW because of the wonderful people, program and location. The faculty here are incredibly knowledgeable, welcoming and have a sense of team camaraderie. I appreciate the program’s focus on applied clinical informatics and the opportunity to collaborate with local industry leaders. Madison is also an exciting place to live and a great place to raise a family. Outside of the fellowship, I enjoy cooking, staying active and exploring the city with my husband and baby."

Aside from the faculty’s incredible expertise and their impressive accomplishments, I was immediately drawn towards their kindness, enthusiasm, and sense of camaraderie. I also chose UW for its reputation as being a leader in informatics as well as its proximity to Epic headquarters. Also, who wouldn't want to be a fierce badger!?"

Residency: Internal Medicine, Cleveland Clinic (Cleveland, OH)

Professional interests: Informatics, quality improvement, clinical decision support, health equity and access, LGBTQ+ care, and primary care

Reason for choosing our fellowship: "Certainly the wonderful faculty here who, in addition to being accomplished informaticists, are clearly enthusiastic and passionate about education. Additionally, the programs focus on applied informatics with opportunities for research additionally matched my future career goals. Madison itself drew me here as a wonderful, growing city with proximity to Epic and other health tech companies."
