Professional Activities

Dr. Navin Pathak is a faculty member in the division of Hospital Medicine as well as a clinical informaticist. As a hospital medicine physician, he helps take care of patients and guide them through their hospital journey. As a clinical informaticist, Dr. Pathak supports the division of hospital medicine and helps define data needs and improves data access for quality improvement projects. He has led documentation improvement projects as well as implementation of outpatient AI scribes and AI summarization tools. His professional interests include clinical decision support, quality improvement, as well as health equity and AI implementation and support.

Clinical Specialties

Dr. Pathak is a hospitalist, treating patients that are admitted to the hospital.
