First Year

Chandra_Medhavani

Medhavani Chandra, MBBS

Medical School: Smt. Kashibai Navale Medical College and Hospital (India)

Residency: Marshfield Clinic Health System (Marshfield, WI)

Previous Fellowship: Sleep Medicine, University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics

Professional Interests: Critical care, veteran health, pulmonary hypertension, physician
leadership

Reason for choosing our fellowship: "Having trained here at UW for my Sleep Medicine fellowship, my interaction with the PCCN program faculty and fellows was so great. I saw the program's commitment to clinical excellence, collegiality, and mentorship. I was drawn to this program's strong academic foundation, robust exposure to advanced pulmonary care-including pulmonary hypertension and transplant-and the opportunity to serve veteran and non-veteran populations across UW Health and the Madison VA. Lastly, Madison is a vibrant and beautiful city with an excellent quality of life. The blend of cultural activities, outdoor recreation, and a strong sense of community makes it an ideal place to live and work."
