Medhavani Chandra

Medhavani Chandra, MBBS

Medical School: Smt. Kashibai Navale Medical College, India

Residency: Combined Internal Medicine-Pediatrics, Marshfield Clinic Health System, Wisconsin

Professional Interests: Further adult fellowship training with an eventual goal of an academic practice integrating sleep medicine.

Reasons for choosing our fellowship: "I chose the Sleep Medicine fellowship at UW–Madison for several compelling reasons. First and foremost, my interaction with Dr. Plante during the interview was exceptional. Dr. Plante's dedication and enthusiasm for sleep medicine were evident, and he took the time to thoroughly explain the fellowship program, its structure, and the unique opportunities it offers. His approachability and willingness to mentor fellows were critical factors in my decision.
The UW faculty is renowned for its expertise and passion in sleep medicine, which aligns perfectly with my professional goals.
Lastly, Madison is a vibrant and beautiful city with a high quality of life. Its blend of cultural activities, outdoor recreation, and a strong sense of community makes it an ideal place to live and work."
