- Management of processes related to university and academic staff including recruitment/staffing, evaluations, classification/reclassification for the following areas:

- Gastroenterology & Hepatology - A53 4250
- Center for Tobacco Research & Intervention (CTRI) – A53 4252
- General Internal Medicine - A53 4253
- Geriatrics – A53 4255
- Hospital Medicine - A53 4270
- Nephrology - A53 4280
- Department of Emergency Medicine - A53 4100
- Coordinate dissemination and interpretation of information relating to human resources policies and procedures
- Responsible for the maintenance of university and academic staff personnel records
- Coordinate HR projects for the Department
