Professional Activities

Dr. Kelly Herold is a faculty member in the Division of General Internal Medicine within the Department of Medicine. At the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, she serves as the Director of the Longitudinal Teacher/Coach program as well as being a Longitudinal Teacher/Coach. She provides teaching and coaching to medical students during their four years of training. She also is a clinical preceptor for medical students and residents. Dr. Herold has been medical director of the UW West Clinic Internal Medicine Clinic. During her residency training, she received the Sobby Matthew, MD, Award for demonstration of positive work ethic, compassion, and caring.

Clinical Specialties

Dr. Herold's clinical interests focus on preventative health, chronic disease and acute illness management in outpatient settings.

Research Interests

Dr. Herold's research publications have focused on biochemical research on ATP synthase and endocrinology, as well as in medical student education.
