Ryan Mattison, MD is an assistant professor of medicine within the division of hematology/oncology at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. Mattison received his medical degree at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. He then completed his internal medicine residency at the University of North Carolina Hospitals where he served as chief resident. Dr. Mattison recently completed his fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at the University of Chicago.
Dr. Mattison's clinical interests are in the care of patients with hematologic malignancies, particularly acute lymphoblastic leukemia and acute myeloid leukemia. He is interested in drug development to improve care and outcomes for these patients. Dr. Mattison is a member of the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
