Professional Activities
James Ircink, MD, is a faculty member in the Division of Hospital Medicine within the Department of Medicine. He also has a joint appointment in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health.
Dr. Ircink is active in medical student and resident teaching and mentorship. He is also the Medical Director of Madison Street Medicine, a community outreach nonprofit organization focused on providing care to unhoused individuals, improving care transitions, and advocacy.
Clinical Specialties
Dr. Ircink’s clinical interests include hospital medicine, longitudinal family medicine, street medicine and care of unhoused populations, medical ethics, and health care economics.
