Professional Activities

Dr. Dustin Hillerson is a faculty member in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine within the Department of Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, and a member of the American Society of Echocardiography and the Society of Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Hillerson is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease, and of the National Board of Echocardiography. 

Clinical Specialties

Dr. Hillerson provides care to patients with a wide range of advanced cardiovascular diseases and disorders. His clinical interests include general cardiology, critical care, and echocardiography. 

Research Interests

Dr. Hillerson’s interests involve predicting outcomes, particularly in mechanical circulatory support and heart failure, and targeted temperature management after cardiac arrest.
