Dr. Ferguson is a faculty member in the Division of Allergy, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine within the Department of Medicine. He has served as Director of Interventional Pulmonology Fellowship Program since 2013, and as Director of Interventional Pulmonology and Bronchoscopy since 2008. Dr. Ferguson is a member of numerous professional societies, including the American Association of Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonary where he was part of the board of director from 2009-2013. A dedicated and passionate educator, Dr. Ferguson is a two-time recipient of the James B. Skatrud Teaching Award for Outstanding Teaching in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine on behalf of fellows in the Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine program.
Dr. Ferguson has clinical interests in Interventional Pulmonology, Advanced Diagnostics, and Thoracic Oncology. Dr. Ferguson is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine and critical care medicine and is a member of the UW Carbone Cancer Center.
