Dr. Patel is a faculty member in the Division of Gastroenterology in the Department of Medicine. Dr. Patel is a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE). Past honors have included election to Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) and University of Wisconsin GI Fellowship Educator of the Year Award. Clinically, Dr. Patel focuses in general gastroenterology with expertise in endoscopic procedures and endoscopic mucosal resection of polyps. Academically, Dr. Patel focuses on endoscopic education and clinical education for the Gastroenterology Fellows.
Dr. Patel's clinical interests include general gastroenterology, upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, endoscopic mucosal resection of upper and lower GI polyps, and clinical education.
