Professional Activities

Dr. Konstantinou is a faculty member in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine within the Department of Medicine. Dr Konstantinou has been practicing Cardiology since 1995. Prior to joining UW, Dr. Konstantinou was a founding members of a multi-specialty group and was co-director of their medical imaging laboratory.

Clinical Specialties

Dr. Konstantinou’s clinical interests include general cardiovascular medicine, particularly the early diagnosis and management of coronary artery disease. He also has expertise in the area of non-invasive cardiac assessment using Stress Echo, Myocardial Perfusion Imaging (Nuclear stress testing) and CT Angiography with calcium scoring. Other clinical cardiac conditions of interest are Heart Failure (HFrEF and HFpEF), various Cardiomyopathies (Hypertrophic and Dilated) and Congenital Heart Disease. 

Research Interests

Dr. Konstantinou’s recent clinical research interests focused on trials and studies investigating pharmacological agents to treat heart failure and specific arrhythmias.
