Professional Activities

Dr. Anupama Joseph is a faculty member in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine within the Department of Medicine. She is also a faculty mentor for the Global Health Pathway in the University of Wisconsin internal medicine residency program.

Dr. Joseph is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Echocardiography in Comprehensive Adult Echocardiography and of the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. She is a member of the American College of Cardiology.

Clinical Specialties

Dr. Joseph’s clinical interests include general and preventive cardiology, health equity and healthcare disparities.

Research Interests

Dr. Joseph’s research interests focus on addressing healthcare disparities in modifiable cardiovascular disease risk factors, such as hypertension, dyslipidemia, diabetes, obesity and smoking.
