CLINICAL SCIENCE CENTERDr. Stephen Halliday is a faculty member in the Division of Allergy, Pulmonary, and Critical Care Medicine in the Department of Medicine. Previously, Dr. Halliday served as a pulmonary and critical care physician at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Tennessee Valley Healthcare System, Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and Nashville General Hospital/Meharry Medical College. As a medical educator, Dr. Halliday works with medical students, residents, and fellows in the Trauma Life Center (ICU), the William S. Middleton Veterans Affairs Hospital, and UW Hospitals and Clinics. He is a member of the American Thoracic Society and the American College of Chest Physicians, and serves as an ad hoc reviewer for numerous top-tier publications in the field.
Dr. Halliday’s clinical interests focus on interstitial lung diseases and the diagnosis and management of life-threatening conditions, such as respiratory and organ failure, that require intensive care.
