Professional Activities

Dr. Chodara is a faculty member in the Division of Rheumatology within the Department of Medicine. She is a member of the American College of Rheumatology and the Ultrasound School of North American Rheumatologists (USSONAR). As a rheumatology fellow, she received USSONAR Course Certification for completion of an intensive, eight-month training on the use of musculoskeletal ultrasound. Dr. Chodara has also received RhMSUS certification from the American College of Rheumatology. She is the associate program director of the rheumatology fellowship program. Dr. Chodara is passionate about advancing the training of fellows, residents and medical students in the hospital and in her clinic.

Clinical Specialties

Dr. Chodara’s clinical interests include connective tissue disease-associated interstitial lung disease, rheumatologic musculoskeletal ultrasound, and inflammatory and crystalline arthritis. She is part of the UW Multidisciplinary Rheumatology-Pulmonary Interstitial Lung Disease Clinic.

Research Interests

Dr. Chodara’s research interests include connective tissue disease-related interstitial lung disease and the use of musculoskeletal ultrasound in guiding the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatologic conditions.
