Dr. Chodara is a faculty member in the Division of Rheumatology within the Department of Medicine. She is a member of the American College of Rheumatology and the American Medical Association. As a chief resident, she developed and led academic lectures and co-led the residency wellness committee. As a rheumatology fellow, she received USSONAR Course Certification for completion of an intensive, eight-month training on the use of musculoskeletal ultrasound. Dr. Chodara has also received RhMSUSTM certification from the American College of Rheumatology. Dr. Chodara is passionate about advancing the training of fellows, residents and medical students in the hospital and in her clinic.
Dr. Chodara’s clinical interests include inflammatory arthritis, lupus, interstitial lung disease, vasculitis and musculoskeletal ultrasound.
Dr. Chodara’s research interests include connective tissue disease-related interstitial lung disease and the use of musculoskeletal ultrasound in guiding the treatment and diagnosis of rheumatologic conditions.
