Professional Activities

Dr. Paulina Phillips is a faculty member in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology within the Department of Medicine. As a transplant hepatologist, Dr. Phillips focuses on the management of advanced liver disease, using hepatopathology and diagnostic techniques to evaluate and manage potential liver transplant patients and care for transplant recipients both before and after transplantation. She also performs liver biopsies, endoscopies and colonoscopies. She is a member of American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases.

Clinical Specialties

Dr. Phillips’ clinical interests include transplant medicine, reproductive health in transplant patients, and management of chronic liver disease, including cirrhosis.
