Professional Activities

Dr. Anne Traynor is a faculty member in the Division of Hematology, Medical Oncology and Palliative Care within the Department of Medicine. She is the faculty director of the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center's Clinical Research Central Office and a member of many of its leadership committees. Dr. Traynor also serves on committees for numerous oncology research organizations, including the Big Ten Cancer Research Consortium, the National Comprehensive Cancer Network Oncology Research Program, and Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group. She is a four-time recipient of the UW Health Patient Experience Physician Champion Award.

Clinical Specialties

Dr. Traynor specializes in the medical oncology care of patients with lung cancer.

Dr. Traynor has research interests in clinical trials to test new treatments in lung cancer. She also conducts research in the oncology care and enrollment onto clinical trials of underrepresented populations.
