Dr. Meghan Brennan selected for faculty leadership professional development

Dr. Meghan Brennan

Meghan Brennan, MD, MS, assistant professor (CHS), Infectious Disease, has been selected for the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) Early Career Women Faculty Professional Development Seminar on July, 2017. 

This competitive program provides early-career women faculty with knowledge and skills required to navigate the academic medicine landscape, with leadership in mind. 

Seminar attendees develop academic medicine career-building skills such as communication, conflict management, and financial acumen, and employ strategic thinking about their career and leadership development.

AAMC is a not-for-profit association dedicated to transforming health care through innovative medical education, cutting-edge patient care, and groundbreaking medical research. Its members comprise all 164 accredited medical schools in the US and Canada, nearly 400 major teaching hospitals and health systems including 51 Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Centers, and more than 80 academic societies.
