Active Projects

TEAMSPORT

TEAMSPORT is an NCI‑funded research study designed to expand access to precision medicine by improving the consistency and timeliness of genomic testing in cancer care through pathology‑initiated reflex testing.

This pilot study aims to strengthen collaboration among clinical teams, standardize testing protocols and clearly define roles and responsibilities. By identifying all patients who meet testing criteria, supporting pathology initiated reflex testing and using audit‑and‑feedback tools to monitor performance and adapt to evolving guidelines, the TEAMSPORT intervention enables cancer centers to deliver more reliable, equitable, and effective precision‑medicine care.

The Implementation IMPACT Lab is developing a Toolkit to facilitate the expansion of TEAMSPORT into community healthcare settings.

CBT4CBT

The Implementation IMPACT Lab is using mixed‑methods data analysis to determine the feasibility of implementing CBT4CBT—an established digital cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) platform—for individuals with substance use disorders (SUD) receiving care in rural Community Mental Health Clinics in Kansas.

STARS-D

The STARS-D program is part of the larger ORION Initiative, designed to meet rural health care delivery challenges by bringing UW–Madison dermatology expertise into underserved primary care settings.
