Dr. Deming’s research program focuses on developing treatments for subtypes of colon cancer and other gastrointestinal cancers using animal models to test personalized regimens for patients based on each patient’s tumor mutations. His laboratory has developed 3-dimensional cell culture techniques for clinical cancer research. He also leads work to identify new and improved biomarkers.
