Professional Activities

Dr. Abdul Kenj Halabi is a faculty member in the Division of Rheumatology within the Department of Medicine. As a clinical rheumatologist and member of the American College of Rheumatology, he focuses on evaluation and management of complex autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. He also lectures on clinical rheumatology topics in continuing medical education activities and participates in training of residents and fellows. Dr. Halabi also has authored several patient guides in Arabic with information about rheumatic diseases, musculoskeletal diseases and disorders, and osteoporosis.

Clinical Specialties

Dr. Halabi’s clinical interests include rheumatology and arthritis, autoimmune disorders, lupus, osteoporosis, and bone density scanning (also called dual-energy x-ray absorptiometry (DXA) or bone densitometry).
