Dr. Paul John Hayner is a faculty member in the Division of General Internal Medicine within the Department of Medicine. As an internist, Dr. Hayner serves as medical director of the Odana Atrium Internal Medicine Clinic in Madison, Wisconsin. He is affiliated with University Hospital and serves on the UW Health Compensation Development Committee. As a medical educator, Dr. Hayner provides clinical and classroom instruction to medical students. He is a member of the American College of Physicians. Prior to joining UW, Dr. Hayner practiced in Astoria, Oregon and Carmel, California.
Dr. Hayner’s clinical interests include internal medicine in ambulatory and inpatient settings. Procedures of interest include arthrocentesis, electrocardiogram, cryodestruction, Pap smear, cerumen removal, pulmonary function test, exercise treadmill test, and skin biopsy.
