Allergy and Clinical Immunology

UW Health allergy and immunology specialists provide definitive diagnostic and therapeutic consultation for sensitivity reactions and diseases for both adults and children. These specialists treat many conditions and diseases, including:

  • allergies to food, food additives, drugs and insects
  • anaphylaxis
  • asthma and allergic asthma
  • atopic dermatitis
  • hypersensitivity lung diseases
  • recurrent respiratory tract infections
  • rhinitis
  • sinusitis
  • skin allergies
  • sports-related allergies
  • sports-related asthma

UW Health physicians also evaluate immunodeficiencies, identify and characterize a patient's allergic reactions and immune constitution and provide special services for patients with severe asthma and corticosteroid-dependent asthma. Special facilities also exist for bronchial provocation testing for asthma and for testing allergies.
