Dr. Abdul-Rahman Abusalim is a faculty member in the Division of Hospital Medicine within the Department of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health (UW SMPH). He plays an active role in clinical care, procedure service and academics. He serves as a member of the Clinical Council in the Division of Hospital Medicine, where he is involved in decisions related to the service structure and physician wellness. Additionally, he is a member of the onboarding committee that oversees the onboarding process and ensures the successful integration of new team members. He also serves on the Hospital Medicine peer review committee that reviews inpatient adverse events to ensure quality of care and continuing medical education.
