Professional Activities

Dr. Meaghan Trainor is a board-certified internist and hospice and palliative medicine provider in the Division of Hematology, Medical Oncology, and Palliative Care. She serves as the medical director of inpatient Palliative Care at both the University of Wisconsin Hospital and UnityPoint Meriter Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. At both locations she provides inpatient palliative care consultations and oversees palliative care admissions. Dr. Trainor serves on the national Palliative Care Quality Collaborative quality improvement committee. She engages in quality improvement education at the medical school through quality improvement coaching. 

Clinical Specialties

Dr. Trainor's clinical practice interests include clinical program development, quality improvement and safety, and enhancing subspecialty palliative care.
