Professional Activities

Dr. Lanjewar is a faculty member in the Division of Infectious Disease within the Department of Medicine. He provides clinical care at UW Health, UnityPoint Health – Meriter Hospital, and Select Specialty Hospital. Dr. Lanjewar is a member of the infection control and antimicrobial stewardship committees. He is active in medical education for medical students, residents, and fellows. He is a member of the Infectious Disease Society of America (IDSA) and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP).

Clinical Specialties

Dr. Lanjewar's clinical interests are general infectious disease and orthopedic infectious disease.

Research Interests

Dr. Lanjewar’s research focuses on medical education and Clostridioides difficile infection. He has published and presented projects in these areas.
