Professional Activities
Dr. Shapiro is a faculty member in the Division of Hospital Medicine within the Department of Medicine. He has received additional training and certification in quality improvement through the Mayo Clinic and Institute for Healthcare Improvement. He has also completed the Stanford Faculty Development Course in Clinical Education. Dr. Shapiro provides clinical instruction and mentoring to medical students and internal medicine residents at UW-Madison.
