Dr. Jennifer Wright is a faculty member in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine within the Department of Medicine. She is a course lecturer and clinical preceptor for medical students; serves on several University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health committees; and is the faculty advisor for Cardiac on Campus, a UW–Madison undergraduate student group. Dr. Wright is also the UW Health physician lead for clinical pathways to manage atrial fibrillation. She is a member of the Heart Rhythm Society, and has served on its Quality Improvement Committee and as a writing group member for its 2020 Expert Consensus Statement on the Management of Arrhythmias During Pregnancy.
Dr. Wright is an electrophysiologist who specializes in the use of minimally invasive procedures to treat atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia and other arrhythmias; implantation and management of pacemakers and defibrillators; and diagnosis and management of syncope.
