Elizabeth Trowbridge, MD, FACP, holds the Phillip August and Sarah Neely Herrmann Professorship in General Internal Medicine. Dr. Trowbridge graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison Medical School in 1991. She completed her residency and Chief Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison. Currently a Clinical Professor of Medicine with the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Dr. Trowbridge serves as Division Chief for General Internal Medicine, as well as Associate Vice Chair of Primary Care for the Department of Medicine. She has helped lead the primary care redesign effort at UW Health. This effort included developing an innovative population-based compensation model for primary care.
