Professional Activities

Dr. Christopher Hildebrand is a faculty member in the Division of General Internal Medicine within the Department of Medicine. He is also the deputy chief of staff and the associate chief of staff for education at the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital, and the senior associate director of the internal medicine residency program at UW. He has served as advisor and mentor for the 120 medical students assigned to Middleton House in the UW School of Medicine and Public Health. A member of the Association of Program Directors in Internal Medicine, Dr. Hildebrand is widely recognized as a physician educator and is extensively involved in internal medicine and geriatric training of medical students and residents.

Clinical Specialties

Dr. Hildebrand’s clinical specialties include urgent care and the care of older adults. He is active in both inpatient hospitalist work and outpatient primary care clinics.
