What is your primary professional focus as it relates to our mission areas (clinical, research and/or medical education)?
My primary focus is clinical care and education of advanced trainees. In my procedural-based practice, I strive to incorporate and innovate out procedural techniques and optimize our resources and patient experience. Finally, I am committed to the care of our veteran population.

What drew you to UW–Madison and the Department of Medicine?
Excellent colleagues and a highly developed environment of complex electrophysiology procedures. Additional opportunities to be an educator and participate in scholarly activities.

What are you most excited about during your first year with the department in this role?
I have been challenged with some unique procedures and putting myself in the teacher role.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
I bike as much as I can for exercise and transportation and really enjoy a good cup of espresso.
