What is your primary professional focus as it relates to our mission areas (clinical, research and/or medical education)?
My primary focus is clinic in the Division of Allergy, Pulmonary, and Critical Care Medicine. Clinical interests are interstitial lung disease, critical care and veterans’ health.

What drew you to UW–Madison and the Department of Medicine?
The environment at UW–Madison is very collegial. In pulmonary and critical care, we work very closely with other specialties and it such an honor to work amongst those who truly have the patient’s best interests at heart.

What are you most excited about during your first year with the department in this role?
Having completed my fellowship in Pulmonary Critical Care here at UW–Madison, I am very excited to work with all the amazing learners and trainees. Their dedication and devotion is inspiring.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
Spending time with family and friends! We have a very sweet and curious toddler who loves to explore and it’s wonderful to watch the world through her eyes.
