Eleventh annual Department of Medicine Research Day a rousing success

Research Day 2018

On June 15, 2018, the Department of Medicine’s annual Research Day event resulted in a remarkable experience for more than 200 attendees, 85 poster presenters, 3 plenary speakers, and 12 faculty members delivering oral presentations. Interest in Research Day stretched beyond the physical confines of the Health Sciences Learning Center, as live coverage of the proceedings on the Department of Medicine Twitter account using the hashtag #DOMResearchDay2018 resulted in more than 17,937 impressions.
