What is your primary professional focus as it relates to our mission areas (clinical, research and/or medical education)?
Clinical care and research.

What drew you to UW–Madison and the Department of Medicine? 
The people I would have the chance to work with. I was/am extremely impressed with the quality clinical care and robust productivity of the department, paired with the kindness and sincerity of the people within it.

What are you most excited about during your first year with the department in this role?
Getting to know my colleagues and my patient panel as well as exploring the research opportunities at UW–Madison!

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?  
Running/walking and anything else active and outside, preferably with friends, family, and/or my two dogs, Maggie and Sunday.

Favorite piece of advice from a mentor or inspiring figure in your life?
Intentionally pausing to listen often shows more love and compassion for others than anything you could potentially say (or do).
