What is your primary professional focus as it relates to our mission areas (clinical, research and/or medical education)?
My professional focuses are primarily clinical work through hospital medicine and informatics, which touches on both operational and research work.

What drew you to UW–Madison and the Department of Medicine? 
The people! The hospitalists here have been such a great group to work with during my informatics fellowship and starting as a new hospitalist. The proximity to Epic also helps with my informatics work.

What are you most excited about during your first year with the department in this role?
I'm most excited to continue to develop my clinical skills in hospital medicine. I am also enjoying working on my certifications to be a "data badger" and help hospitalists streamline data paths for research.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?  
I'm a big board games enthusiast - I love playing games with friends on the weekends. My partner and I also enjoy travelling when we have the spare time.
