What does being a chief resident mean to you?
I have been so fortunate to have been at the University of Wisconsin from undergraduate through my residency training.
Being a chief resident represents an opportunity for me to step up into a leadership role in the program that has shaped my own professional journey.
What are you most looking forward to as chief?
I am most looking forward to the forging of connections with incoming and current residents.
Our residents are at the heart of what makes our program great, and it is a privilege to play a role in their individual and collective success.
What’s your favorite part of the UW internal medicine residency?
How much time do we have here? There are so many things that make UW internal medicine residency program special, but at the core of what makes it great is our culture.
We have a rigorous training environment that pushes us to clinical excellence. The camaraderie between residents, faculty, and staff allows us all to show up as the best versions of ourselves as we care for our patients.
