Interventional Nephrology Clinical Research

Interventional nephrology clinical research in the University of Wisconsin Division of Nephrology has a strong reputation for its focus on novel technologies and dialysis access outcomes.

Our investigators have participated in multi-center trials on endovascular devices, such as stent grafts and angioplasty balloons, and have published large population-based observational studies.

We are currently participating in industry-initiated randomized trials on stem cell therapy for chronic kidney disease and a National Institutes of Health/National Institute of Aging-funded multi-center trial on vascular access outcomes in the elderly.
