Professional Activities

Dr. Siobhan Wilson is a faculty member in the Division of General Internal Medicine within the Department of Medicine. Her non-clinical activities include medical student, resident, staff, and faculty education and coaching. In addition, Dr. Wilson teaches continuing education courses on Clinical Preceptorship and Firearm Injury Prevention to local, state, regional, and national multi-disciplinary audiences. She is a fellow of the American College of Physicians (ACP), and she serves as a member of the ACP-Wisconsin chapter Gun Violence Prevention Advocacy Workgroup. Dr. Wilson serves as co-advisor for the UW SMPH medical student SAFE (Scrubs Addressing the Firearm Epidemic) group. In addition, she is a member of the inaugural class of Faculty Affiliates for the BulletPoints Project at UC Davis. Her honors include the UW Division of Internal Medicine Faculty Excellence in Clinical Teaching Award, UW Department of Medicine Star Educator Award, UW Department of Medicine Star Clinician Award, and the UW Division of Internal Medicine Mentorship Certificate Award. 

Clinical Specialties

Dr. Wilson's medical interests include preventive health, care of chronic conditions,  reproductive health, firearm injury prevention, and clinical education.
