Dr. Amy Taylor is a faculty member in the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology within the Department of Medicine. Dr. Taylor contributes to the educational mission of the division through teaching and mentorship of fellows and residents, including participation in fellowship didactics and inpatient clinical training. She is committed to supporting the development of trainees and future physician-scientists.
Dr. Taylor is also actively involved in institutional service, serving on committees within UW such as the Chemotherapy Council and the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee. Dr. Taylor maintains engagement in the broader oncology community through membership in professional societies including the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Association of Cancer Research.
Dr. Taylor is a medical oncologist who specializes in the treatment of genitourinary (bladder, kidney, prostate, and testicular) cancers.

Dr. Taylor is the principal investigator of a Department of Defense-funded Physician Research Award supporting a multi-institutional study investigating liquid biopsy applications in diverse patient populations with metastatic prostate cancer. Her work integrates biomarker discovery, circulating tumor cell analysis, and translational research to improve clinical outcomes.
She has received multiple honors recognizing her early-career contributions, including a Prostate Cancer Foundation Young Investigator Award and selection for national programs such as the FDA-AACR Oncology Educational Fellowship and AACR Early-Career Hill Day.
