Professional Activities

Dr. Anne O'Connor is a faculty member and senior associate chief for clinical affairs for the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine. She holds the Dr. Herman and Ailene Tuchman Chair in Clinical Cardiology.

Dr. O'Oonnor is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (ACC), is a board member of the Wisconsin ACC Chapter and chairs the Women in Cardiology (WIC) Committee for the state chapter. She is also a member of the American Heart Association and the American Society of Echocardiography. Dr. O'Connor completed the UW Medical Foundation Physician Leadership Development Program and is part of the inaugural cohort for of the ACC’s Sandra J. Lewis Mid-Career Women’s Leadership Institute

Dr. O’Connor is also involved in the teaching and training of medical students, residents and cardiovascular medicine fellows. She attends regularly on the inpatient cardiovascular medicine teaching services and contributes to the fellowship and resident lecture series.
