Dr. Ali Mrad is a faculty member in the Division of Allergy, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine within the Department of Medicine. He completed his pulmonary and critical care medicine fellowship at the University of Kansas, with an emphasis on interstitial lung diseases (ILDs). In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Mrad is actively involved in medical education, teaching medical students, residents, and pulmonary and critical care fellows at UW Hospitals and Clinics.
Dr. Mrad's clinical practice encompasses the evaluation and management of ILDs as well as the full spectrum of pulmonary and critical care medicine.
Dr. Mrad has authored peer-reviewed publications on ILDs, including acute interstitial pneumonia and hypersensitivity pneumonitis, as well as topics related to lung transplantation, point-of-care ultrasound, and critical care outcomes.
